The head office of my business, La Serpillière, was based in a magnificent building at 1995, Girouard Street West in Saint-Hyacinthe. It was in this very building that the former Customs House was situated. It also sits directly across from the Saint-Hyacinthe Cathedral erected in 1852.
Le siège social de mon entreprise, La Serpillière, était basée dans un magnifique bâtiment qui se trouve au 1995, rue Girouard Ouest à Saint-Hyacinthe. En 1903, l’édifice de la douane ce trouvait là et directement en face, la cathédrale de Saint-Hyacinthe, érigée en 1852.
Promenade Gérard-Côté
The Gérard-Côté Boardwalk situated along the Yamaska River is named after the athlete who won the Boston Marathon in 1940.
This is where I would walk in the early mornings and evenings to unwind after a long day at work.
La Promenade Gérard-Côté situé au long de la rivière Yamaska à Saint-Hyacinthe, est nommé en honneur de cet athlète qui a gagné le marathon de Boston en 1940.
C’est l’endroit ou j’allais marcher tôt le matin et le soir pour me détendre suite à une bonne journée de travail.

A room in Montreal
Upon my return from Australia and New Zealand, I rented this charming room from a friend of mine. It is nestled in the quaint neighbourhood of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie and is walking distance to the Jean-Talon Market.
It was during this past year that I fine-tuned my idea of creating a travel blog of my experiences.
I have been fortunate to be working with the talented graphic artist Jeanne Lapointe, whom I recommend for her excellent work and professionalism.
Lors de mon retour d’Australie et de la Nouvelle-Zélande, j’ai loué cette chambre charmante chez une amie. Le logement est situé dans le très beau quartier de Rosemont-Petite-Patrie tout près du marché Jean-Talon.
C’est à Montréal durant la dernière année que j’ai fondé mon nouveau projet de créer mon blog de voyage décrivant mes belles expériences.
J’ai eu le bonheur de travailler avec la graphiste douée, Jeanne Lapointe, qui je recommande pour sont excellent travail ainsi que pour son professionnalisme.
